OCLC Mobile Application Privacy Policy
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using the Digby™ by OCLC mobile application (the "Service" or the “App”), provided by OCLC, Inc. ("us", "we", or "our").
The use of the Service is governed by this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies to all users who access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by the Policy. If you disagree with any part of this Privacy Policy, you may not access the Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our OCLC Digby End User License Agreement, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with information about you and your use of the Service, including but not limited to your user ID, your institution’s ID, information about your use of their Service, your mobile device type and operating system, and your geographic location. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Log Data
Whenever you use our Service, to assist in identifying and correcting errors, we collect data and information on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your devices’ Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

At times OCLC may employ third-party companies due to the following reasons:
- To improve our Service;
- To provide the Service on our behalf;
- To perform Service-related services; or
- To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

Children’s Privacy
This Services is not intended for anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 16. In the case we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
